Downtown Color and Reflections

My intention was to focus on color intensity. Finding a color wheel in the window of Wind Up Here, I noticed this great reflection that leads you into and down the street. The Jinjor store front provided an opportunity to
reimagine the dresses in the window. The hacky sack player is for fun and the flowers for color.

Downtown Reflections

The reflection in skirt of the dress fascinated me. The bike and car rest the eye while the dress is a mirror for the park across the street. Metadata: 1/125. F4.0. ISO 200, WB shade, 32mm, Manual.

The dress from this angle reflected the leaves. I wanted to get the detail in the dress and necklace so opted for blurry leaves. The dark dress against the white curtain demonstrates contrast. The soft folds of the curtain are in contrast to the straight lines detailed in the dress. Metadata: 1/125, F 4.0, ISO 200, WB shade, 35 mm, Manual.

The window reflection of the dresses gives the sense of inside looking out when in fact I am on the outside looking in. Metadata: 1/20, 4.0, ISO 100, WB shade, 24mm, Aperture priority.

I liked the intensity of the blue car and the blue in the pedestrian's top. One can imagine the intensity change as the woman and the little girl walk into the sunlight. Metadata: 1/50, f11, ISO 100, 45mm, WB auto, Aperture.
